I left my purse on our airplane back from Ohio on Sunday and have been calling and emailing since. The last lady on the phone didn't give me much hope saying if they found it, it could be a looong time before they got it to me because they'd likely ship it to their warehouse where all lost items from all flights go and there are thousands of things there and then they have to sort through claims, etc. She told me to get on canceling all my cards, after being shocked I hadn't yet, and then said something to the effect that it's not a big deal to lose a purse, you just cancel your cards and get new ones and skip the hassle of trying to find my purse.
WHAT?
She must have one credit card and nothing else in her purse because it would be a full time job replacing all the junk and important stuff in this baby. So you can imagine how thrilled I was to go back to the airport today with it there. Hooray!
This pic sure looks like I have the "love of money" sin going on. It's more like, Relief!

Lucky! I had my identity stolen when I was no less than SEVENTEEN. It sucked big time--I had several mortgages and loans to my name and I got calls for Luis Burciaga for years to come . . .
yay! what a blessing!
i have to tell you i watched your video while in labor and chuckled about it between contractions. weird, i know, but it was a great stress reliever and helped keep me lighthearted (even at josh's expense, thanks for taking a hit for my team!)
No way...we flew home from Ohio on Sunday too! And I think you're super-lucky to have found your wallet.
ah, what a scare! That's one of my biggest fears. How on earth did it not get stolen?
