Josh's cool, awesome, wonderful brother is getting married to a cool, awesome, wonderful girl in Salt Lake City on Dec. 6, 2009. We are always thrilled when one of our siblings finds their perfect match, so hooray for them!
Changing gears. Since there is a wedding, I decided this is the perfect time to buy an outfit for it. I pretty much hate to shop, it's been this way before kids. Money is usually the biggest factor, but I'm also overwhelmed with all the options. Now time and kids (and husband) are big factors too.

Since I rarely go shopping anymore, and especially to actually buy a complete outfit, I decided this would be a good excuse to do it and it would be fun. At least the end result. I didn't even know where to shop I'm so out of the loop and some friends told me to start at the mall and then gave a few more suggestions. Mall? Oh, good to know.
Here are the colors more or less. It's supposed to be light purple (mostly light I think) and royal blue.

Good news is that it's actually been really fun and I'm excited to have a few new items.

You are coming to Utah? yay!!! We absolutely MUST get together this time!
I like shopping for my house and my kitchen, but I hate shopping for clothes for myself. Mostly because I always have little kids with me who try to escape out of the dressing room when I'm right in the middle of changing. So my solution is just to deputize my sisters to buy things for me, since we're pretty much all the same size now.
Can't go wrong with the Banana Republic and Gap classics, although lately I've really been liking Target online...that's where I got my dress for Ruth's wedding and I LOVED it.
I love Ebay because I can find cheap prices on used clothes from my favorite stores like Anthropologie and J.Crew. Love Down East Basics and Layers Clothing too. Check them out online!
Love shopping.
Anthropologie is fun but I really only WINDOW shop there. My friend goes there and sketches, looks on their website for measurements and fabrics and then SEWS THE PIECES HERSELF!!! So neat.
TJ Maxx: get the max for the minimum.
Amazon: for books
BareEscentuals: for make-up
Hope to see you over Thanksgiving!
I don't like shopping much, but when I find great deals, I like it more. My favorite place right now is the H&M at the Great Mall in Milpitas. If you haven't gone there already, go without children (I will watch them!) for spend a few hours going around the entire place. It's like a cross between a normal mall and an outlet, so you don't have to drive forever to get there, but there are still some really great deals. H&M often has cute and funky stuff. There are lots of children's stores too.
I second the Great Mall! I haven't been there in years, but growing up in the Bay Area, it was where I always shopped...even when going to BYU. I'd come home for the holidays and head to the Great Mall for awesome deals. I'm not sure how much of it is still outlets, but when it first opened, that was one of the main draws to it...besides it being so huge and a great "track" for excercising. Good luck with the wedding outfit!:)
