After many a short nights and neglected kids, our home is going on the market tomorrow!!! I'm so excited to finally be done getting the house ready! This weekend will be heavenly. Josh will be done with the bar exam and all relaxed, I'll be done getting the house ready, and the kids will just be happy to have us back.
I'll post pictures of how it looks as soon as I take them:). I really should've taken before and after pics, I just figured we have enough of just us in our home, but that was a dumb idea.
Today's projects included cleaning and painting the outside entry way around the door, planting potted flowers, cleaning cabinet fronts, hanging and measuring (such a pain alone) 9 things--and I think evenly even, cleaning off kitchen countertops and fridge--it looks soo naked now! Rearranging and decorating family room, and then just basic cleaning around the house.
I am so stinkin tired, I'm off to bed.
Q: What home project are you working on? Did you take before and after pics? Are they online?

I'm not really working on a home project right now since we are renting, but I am working on getting the kids rooms decorated again. Now that Lucy and Abby are sharing a room Abby needs some girliness in her life. Although Lucy is excited she is so easy going that she would be happy about just about anything. Some of the projects we did on our home are on my blog. I'll have to hunt them down for you. BTW, I love your new/soon to not be your backsplash. Oh and I'm lamenting the loss of color in your house :(. I like color. I can't wait til we are in a house again, and one that I know I'm not going to sale in a few years. It is going to be so much fun!
Good luck selling your house!
That sounds like so much work. We just decorated our formals. We put in wood flooring, painted, and hung drapes. It was fun, but it was only the formals, not the whole house! Good luck with selling. How long did the realtor say they expect the house to be on the market?
Arlynda, I'm going to have to check your blog, I love seeing people's projects! Rachel, I would love to see yours too, sounds like a lot of work. How was doing the flooring? Our realtor didn't say for how long they expected it to last. We'll see!
