Great Christmas Present by Dec. 15

Awesome Christmas gift idea: Your kid (or niece or nephew or dog, whatever) on a canvas (or wall or frame, whatever) just like this for a great personalized decoration. Well, not just like this unless you wanted to, however you want to pose the kid and in whatever color and size.

NOTE: This is my sister's business, but let me assure you I try not to promote things I don't support (like businesses or ideas I think are lame), so let me tell you that no matter whose business this would be, I'd think it was awesome and I picture it on the Today Show's little ditties about great, unique, budget-friendly Christmas gifts. I think this is an excellent idea and Christmas present regardless. I guess I think it's such a good idea because I helped with the concept, so now you know I'm really behind it:).

These are her kids on her wall in her kitchen. Takes up no space and helps her remember to not lose it when spaghetti goes flying.

Personalized Vinyl Portraits and Images--what is it? No doubt you've seen the "vinyl lettering" that is popping up everywhere. Here's a new, modern spin on it. Take a profile picture of a kid and send it to my sister's biz and they'll change it into a cool looking profile on vinyl that you can put up directly on your wall with a frame around it (one of those plain empty ones or a vinyl one) or put it on the glass in a frame with cool paper for the backdrop for your wall. I'm going to do one soon and I'll post pics.

Here's the deal, it takes quite a bit of time to do each one of these babies so consider that when you look at cost. Here is one from Pottery Barn, just letters mind you, no personalizing of images and it costs $79!!! My sister is having a starting-up sale for any Friends and Family of anyone:) that's 30% off their prices (which she's told me they will actually not make any money on, it's just to get the ball rolling).

Problem is I didn't realize what day it is, but apparently the sale ends Dec. 15. You don't have to have your image to them by then if that's a problem (and you can blame it on me), but you can place an order or tell her what you're going to want and she'll still give you the deal.

Oh, and she can do stuff like this or anything reall, but I just think the profiles are really cool. You could even do a bunch of small ones of different kids and put them in one of those 6-picture frames for the grandparents...ideas ideas.
