Team Hoyt

Shelah and I passed Team Hoyt as we were about to head up the blasted Newton Hills. I was wasted at this point and had no idea how he was pushing his son. It was really amazing.

Here's another post by Autumn:

First, the other posts have been added. Second, one final thing about the marathon. I saw some familiar faces on one of these banners. (The yellow banner in second picture.) It was the Hoyts, I had seen their story on youtube from a forward a friend sent me a few years ago. I thought it was just a nice little tribute to them, a motivational thing. No, they were running it! This was their 100th marathon, 1000th race. A father pushing his son in his wheelchair. Here's their really touching story.
