review rating: 3 of 5 starsI just finished the first book in this series, and so far, I'm not really hooked. I also didn't notice any kind of a push for atheism yet, I heard that comes in the third book. It was just sort of a fun adventure story for kids.
It leaves you on a cliff hanger, so I'll probably get the other books if the library has them on audio and I can have them on in the background, but if they only have hard copies I have to take time to sit and read, might just end up reading a summary online.
